Basically, I just sign up for things

As I explained in more detail when I signed up for Medium, I just sign up for things. The major reason is to keep my "brand" pure. There's no good reason for that, but it just seemed to be a fun thing to do. So now, we've got lgpiper at blogger as well as at tumblr, twitter, plurk, and a host of others. In addition, there are, of course, oodles of things that have long since met their deaths, like poseterous, xanga, qwippy, chi.mp, etc. The closest I come to regular blogging these days is over at goodreads, where I chronicle my adventures in trying to become vaguely literate in my declining years.
